Templates
That a rough idea in terms of price may be made available earlier on, we send price quotations based on your request. We suggest you use our online form, because all information useful for calculation will be asked in it. To provide you the additional service of visualising your pin as a design template before your order placement, we also want the simulation of the finished product to convey as realistic a feel of it as possible and in line with your goal. With your cooperation in providing a well-thought-out design and a precise request, the best can easily and rapidly be drawn out of your pin. If you are interested in this sort of design suggestion, we kindly ask that you send the logo in vector file or high-quality JPG file form.
Printed pins
If you want a motif that boasts a high level of detail – for example colour gradients, fine structures, filigree lettering or a high number of colours, we recommend the option of printed pins. Furthermore, the direct printing of logos, pictures, company names and event motifs can also be manufactured in the smallest size, 12mm. Amongst printed pins, two options are available: screen printing allows for the choice of up to four colours by the use of individual pantone codes. An overlying number of colours will be produced based on your logo with the method of offset printing. The better the start, the faster we can draw out the best from your motif. With this in mind, a template as JPG file is enough for printed pins, but the quality must be sufficiently high.
Stamped pins
Unlike the formerly mentioned printed pins, stamped pins – with soft enamel, hard enamel, relief stamped or sand-blast effect - show metal sticks. The manufacturing of your badges starts with the stamping of your company’s logo or club emblem on an iron blank and subsequently a contour die-cutting. The result is a metal pin with lowered metal surfaces for later colour inlays, surrounded by metal sticks. For this reason, it is essential to separate the colour surfaces from one another with metal sticks on the motif that you would like stamped, and this already in the template. Sending the motif as a vector file is especially advantageous for stamped pins because we can work precisely with each individual line.
Letterings, colours, sizes
Should you have a corporate design whose colours have been carefully chosen, please send us right from the start the desired colour shades in Pantone-C so that we can create the design suggestion with the right colours. Furthermore, if your motif contains letterings, it would be very useful to send the font used beforehand. This way, it is much easier and more effective to work on your lettering. Please keep in mind that letterings that will be stamped, meaning they will be used for colour inlays, small and filigree letterings will have to be partly enlarged due to feasibility. As previously mentioned, the printing process can be conducted for almost in any desired size. The limits are set by the attachment options – a butterfly fastener extends the minimum size from 5 to 6mm on which it can be applied. The largest size option for pins that can still be printed or stamped is 50mm – a higher price for the casting process might then come into question.
